STILL HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Inspired by interior designer Hutton Wilkinson’s maximalist style where more most certainly means more, this styled shoot takes ornate patterns and details and boldly stylizes them alongside a colour palette of gold and fuchsia.

WedLuxe Gatsby Galmour Shoot

Great Gatsby Wedluxe

If you love all things Gatsby and dream of channeling Daisy Buchanan on your day, this shoot is for you! Designed as a tribute to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless Jazz Age tale, the editorial is filled with glam gold, black, and ivory wedding inspiration. We fell for the vintage meets luxe style details, especially the Hayley Paige gown with crystal beading and the Naeem Khan flapper-style dress with a feathery skirt —a perfect reception dress to dance the night away in!

WedLuxe Baroque Vineyard Shoot

On a windy day in October, our creative team has put together a baroque vineyard style shoot, at ‎Ontario’s Willow Springs Winery. This creative collaboration project was for the Canadian leading luxurious wedding magazine, Wedluxe, and was featured on their gorgeous blog.

‎Ontario’s Willow Springs Winery provided a beautiful backdrop and inspired every detail of this rustic-meets-luxe shoot from Rhythm Photography. Creative Director Phoebe Lo of Phoebe Lo Events also found inspiration in the Baroque period, and Secrets Floral Collection has provided ornate floral and décor throughout this shoot.

The tablescape set amongst the grapevines and topped with hot pink and red blooms is pure romance. We think you’ll be smitten with the sweet table from Ruelo Patisserie as well as the beautifully displayed, mulled wine signature drink—perfect for a late fall, al-fresco celebration. Charming stationery from Ferris Wheel Press and a Hayley Paige crystal-accented gown from Pearl Bridal House complete the vineyard wedding fairytale.

Bridal Portraiture — Sepideh Mirzaie

Last summer, we did a bridal portraiture for Sepideh Mirzaie. Sepideh has beautiful brown eyes, and when ones say the eyes are the mirror of the soul, this is truly reflected by Sepideh.

This portraiture is taken by photographer Eric Choi, and the make-up and hair is done by Peggy Lee. Of course, the beautiful cascading bouquet is created by us, Secrets Floral Collection.

The bouquet is created by top-grade soft-touch and real-touch flowers, and comprised of engagement bouquet with mainly light pink cymbidium orchids, light apple green anthuriums, cream roses, green hydrangea, ivory allium, and purple lilac.

Thanks Eric for sharing the wonderful photos.

Engagement Shoot — Teresa and Ian

Fresh pink carnations, fuchsia spray roses, burgundy leucadendron, green trachelium bridal bouquet, embellished with ivory ribbon and gold crystal brooch (top view) - Toronto Wedding Flowers by Secrets Floral Collection

It was definitely a pleasure to work on the bouquet for Teresa and Ian’s engagement photos.

Their photographer Angela Lau told me that the couple has chosen fuchsia, ivory, and gold to be their wedding colours.  Immediately, I realized this is not a common wedding colour palette, and this excited me.  Like always, I prefer to bring in the couple’s wedding colours to their engagement photos, so everything ties together and look cohesive.

We have designed Teresa and Ian’s engagement bouquet with mainly pink flowers, and have wrapped the bouquet with ivory ribbon and have embellished it with a gold crystal buckle.

Everyone was really happy with how the pictures turned out.  Thanks Angela for taking always taking such fabulous photos.
